    • Hey Paul,

Any non-genuine “accessory” or “modification” has the potential to impact on your vehicles factory warranty. An aftermarket stereo technically voids your cars warranty as it is an aftermarket modification and also due to the complex underwriting involved in a car manufacturers warranty. Saying that, we cover any damage or costs that might arise from the installation of an iDRIVE with our comprehensive liability insurance and haven’t had any claims to date.

    • Hey mate,

Certainly do, just enter your car details when ordering and we’ll get one out to you asap.

      Thanks

    • Hey Meynard,

Certainly can, they make a nice difference to the throttle response and ramp up power of the Isuzu MUX’s too, they’re actually quickly becoming one of our more popular units. Let me know if there’s anything else you need.

      Thanks,
      Dan.

  • Changed out a pedal commander in my 15 jku. Put in the iDrive. Could not be happier with the results far more power and control Offroad. And everybody out there with a manual transmission do not use the pedal Commander it is not set up for manual transmission. But the iDrive works great with my manual transmission. Great job guys with a great product

  • Hi,
You have probably answered this one already, does this unit suit a 2017 XLT Ford Ranger. I have only done 4000k’s and have also purchased a 2.5T Van to tow. I am sure this unit will make a difference.

    • Hey mate,

Yeah they certainly do, the Ranger unit is by far our most popular application. They make a big difference to the throttle response and overall drivability of the 2l and 3.2l engines.

      Thanks,
      Dan.

  • Best money well spent on my 2017 ltz Colorado it made the response on the acceleration even more responsive i recommend IDRIVE to all my mates.

  • G Day I wonder if you are some time soon going to develop a i Drive for Ford Ranger PK 2010 3.0Lt manual ??

    • Hey Neville,

We have received a new batch of PK Ranger iDRIVES and are currently putting them through rigorous testing, we should know soon whether they are production ready or not.

    • Could you possibly give me an answer to why you can not supply a throttle controller for a 2005 D22 Nissan 3lt Duel Cab.
      Regards,
      Cameron

      • Hey Cameron,

The 3lt D22’s use an older style drive-by-wire system that isn’t compatible with a throttle controller. They don’t have the ECU capabilities to have a throttle controller introduced into their system and adjust to it effectively.

        Thanks,
        Dan

  • Hi Tim – placed an order today for my MQ Triton which has disturbing throttle lag. Hoping the device will return confidence to drive the vehicle without fear again.

    • Hey David,

The MQ Triton is quickly becoming one of our more popular units because of the difference the iDRIVE makes to the inherent pedal lag and overall drivability of the Modern Tritons. Thanks for your order, let us know how you go!

  • Will this work on a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel if so what has the feed back from customers been like.
    Thanks C

    • Hey Craig,

It certainly can, the iDRIVE is very popular with Jeep drivers as the Jeeps have on of the worst pedal lags from factory. Being a diesel only makes this lag worse so you should see great results from the installation of an iDRIVE.

      Thanks,
      Dan

  • Does insurance companies allow IDrive throttle controllers to be installed and will not void the policy? really like to know before purchasing one.

    Thanks

    • Hey Chi,

Any aftermarket/non-genuine modification you make to your new car will have some impact on your new car warranty and insurance, however the iDRIVE is classed as a performance accessory and not a modification as it doesn’t take anything outside of your factory parameters. In respect to iDRIVE, iDRIVE Australia has done extensive testing to ensure a correctly fitted iDRIVE wont damage your vehicle. The iDRIVE has been designed so that if it develops a fault, the vehicle can be put back to factory settings and the vehicle will return to normal operation. So if you are ever concerned, simply remove the iDRIVE and plug the factory wiring back into the pedal assembly. In the unlikely event that the iDRIVE does damage your vehicle the iDRIVE is fully covered by our product liability insurance.

    • Hey Colin,

Certainly does, makes a nice different to the initial pedal lag and ramp up power of the earlier V6 Hilux’s too.

      Thanks,
      Dan.

  • Hi,Do you know if there is a special tool required to fit the idrive to a suzuki swift? The first plug comes off easily as shown in the pics and video but it appears that a secondary plug fitted to the accelerator needs a special tool to remove it and fit the supplied flexible adapter that the idrive plugs into.It is not the same as other cars I have done that just plug straight in.Thanks, Mal.

    • Hey Mal,

The Suzuki Swift should be a straight forward clip, essentially you just have to squeeze the clip on top of the plug and opo it off the pedal. Sometimes the plugs can be a bit stiff the first time they are removed so you may need a flat blade screwdriver to help ease it off.

      Thanks,
      Dan

    • Hey Josh,

Certainly does, makes a nice different to the initial pedal lag and ramp up power of the Ford Focus’s too.

      Thanks,
      Dan.

    • Hey Keith,

Through our website here, just go to “shop now” on our website and add an iDRIVE to your cart, every customer orders the same iDRIVE and the website will ask for your vehicle details during the checkout procedure so that we know which unit to send out.

      Thanks,
      Dan

    • Hey Rick,

Thanks for your enquiry, yes fitment to the new Raptor has been confirmed, plenty on the shelf ready to go.

      Thanks,
      Dan

    • Hey Michael,

Thank you for your enquiry, the BT50/Ranger iDRIVE is by far our most popular unit as they are very effective at removing their pedal lag and improving their engine responsiveness.

      Thanks,
      Dan

  • Hi do you have a i drive for a Hino 300 series 716 model 4 lt motor i already have a D Chip would it make much difference
    Thks Jeff

    • Hi Nicholas,
The EVC652L suits your model. If you wish to purchase head to Shop Now and follow the steps until the end.

  • I have a np300 navara and I am wanting to purchase one of your idrive units but have noticed there are two different one advertised the I drive throttle controller and the i drive wind booster throttle controller is there any difference and if so which one is the best one for my car .

    • Hey Craig,

The iDRIVE Throttle Controller and Windbooster Throttle Controller are two different products. Unfortunately some people use the name iDRIVE to describe similar products because we have the strongest and most reliable branding on the market. The iDRIVE and Windbooster are two different products from two different brands, the main difference being warranty, the iDRIVE has a lifetime warranty for the original owner, while the Windbooster has a 3 year warranty.

    • Hey Doug,

Yes absolutely, we get very good feedback from our Amarok customers. The iDRIVE makes a very noticeable difference to their low down pedal lag and overall drivability.

      Thanks,
      Dan
